Terms and Conditions for Custom Cabinet Supply

By placing an order with Closetwood LLC ("Company"), you ("Customer") agree to the following Terms and Conditions. This document governs the purchase, manufacturing, and supply of custom cabinets. No signature is required to indicate acceptance; placing an order signifies agreement to these terms.

1. Scope of Services

The Company will manufacture and supply custom cabinets based on the specifications provided by the Customer, which may include dimensions, designs, materials, and finishes.

 

2. Order Process

2.1 Estimate and Deposit:
Customers will receive a free estimate. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before any further design work, including 3D sketches.

2.2 3D Design Sketch:
Once the deposit is made, the Customer will receive a 3D design sketch. The design must be approved by the Customer before production begins.

2.3 Customer Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate measurements are provided if not handled by the Company.

  • Communicate all design preferences clearly during the design approval process.

 

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

3.1 Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required upon order confirmation.

 

3.2 Final Payment:
The remaining balance is due upon delivery or completion of installation, as applicable.

 

3.3 Taxes:
Prices do not include sales tax unless explicitly stated. Applicable taxes will be added to the final invoice.

 

4. Production, Shipping, and Delivery

4.1 Production Timeline:
The Company will manufacture the cabinets within 2-3 weeks from the date of design approval unless delays occur due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., material shortages, force majeure events).

 

4.2 Shipping and Delivery:

  • The Company provides shipping to Connecticut and other states as agreed upon at the time of order. Additional shipping charges may apply for locations outside Connecticut.

  • Delivery dates will be coordinated with the Customer in advance.

 

4.3 Installation:
Installation services are available within Connecticut. For locations outside Connecticut, installation services may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

 

4.4 Delays:
The Company is not liable for delays beyond its control but will promptly communicate any expected changes to the timeline.

 

5. Material Quality and Warranty

5.1 Materials:
The Company uses time-tested, high-quality materials for all projects.

 

5.2 Lifetime Limited Warranty:
The Company provides a lifetime limited warranty for manufacturing defects under normal use and conditions. This warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear.

  • Damage caused by misuse, improper care, or unauthorized modifications.

  • Issues arising from Customer-provided measurements or designs.

 

6. Cancellations and Modifications

6.1 Cancellations:
Orders may be canceled only before production begins. The deposit will not be refunded.

 

6.2 Modifications:
Changes to an order must be communicated before production begins. Additional charges may apply for modifications.

7. Liability

The Company is not liable for:

  • Errors in Customer-provided specifications.

  • Damages caused during third-party transportation or by Customer installation.

  • Incidental or consequential damages arising from delays or defects.

 

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved under the laws of the State of Connecticut.

 

9. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on the website and apply to orders placed thereafter.
